LEICESTER have suffered a major blow with Luke Becker sustaining serious back injuries in a crash in Poland on Sunday.
The American star was involved in an accidental collision with his team-mate Frederik Jakobsen during the final race of Ostrow’s home fixture against Bydgoszcz.
Becker was taken to hospital immediately after the incident where it has been confirmed he has suffered fractures to three vertebrae, but thankfully he does have feeling and movement in his legs.
He has now been transferred to a specialist for further scans to determine whether he requires an operation.
